IES exam pattern

IES-Indian Engineering service exams
This exams is conducted by Government of India for the various posts in central government sector specially and only for Engineers of the stream(Civil/mechanical/electronics/electrical&communication)
the patern is as follows…
Part-A:
(General english ,General studies)for 2hrs for 200 marks
Part-B
ENg stream paper for 2 hrs for 200 marks+200 marks(2 papers)
part-C:
Conventional paper(civil/mech/ee/ece)-3hrs for 200 marks+200(2papers)

so total marks is1000 and they syllabus is entire engineering subjects of respective stream.
